Manchester United handed transfer blow by Arsenal
Manchester United have already filled an area that they needed to strengthen in by agreeing a deal with Borussia Dortmund for the transfer of Jadon Sancho, who would be expected to come in and quickly make the right wing position his own.
Another position that the Red Devils could be looking to strengthen in over the course of the summer is central midfield. Fred and Scott McTominay formed a formidable partnership in the middle of the park last season but there is a feeling that it is an area where the club can improve even further.
Also, the futures of Paul Pogba and Nemanja Matic appear to be up in the air at the moment, and as a result, it should not come as a surprise if the club do decide to try and sign a central midfielder over the coming months.
Ruben Neves is a player who has been linked with the Red Devils in recent times. But as reported by Record (via Express), Arsenal are already negotiating with Wolves over a possible summer transfer.

Neves has been linked with a Manchester United move in recent times
Manchester United have been linked with a move for Ruben Neves in recent times and it is not hard to see why. The Portuguese international has plenty of experience in English football and has already proven himself in the Premier League. He is believed to be rated at around £45 million.
If either Pogba or Matic were to leave, it would make sense for the Red Devils to make a move for someone like Neves and the Portuguese playmaker appears to be on their wish list for the summer transfer window.
As a result, the latest interest from Arsenal could be a worry for their summer transfer plans. Now, it remains to be seen how things eventually turn out.
