Manchester United have already made a splash in the summer transfer window by agreeing a deal with Borussia Dortmund for the transfer of Jadon Sancho. The club have been linked with the English international for years now and he is expected to come in and quickly make the right-wing position his own in Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s team.

The Red Devils have also signed Tom Heaton on a free transfer. The 35-year-old will be making his return to the Theatre of Dreams. And he could end up serving as the number two between the posts next season, with the futures of both David de Gea and Dean Henderson appearing to be up in the air, and there being the possibility that one of them could depart this summer.

But amidst all this, could the club end up making an even bigger splash in this transfer window itself? It looks like they are still in the race for Harry Kane. The Tottenham Hotspur superstar has been linked with a transfer in recent months.

And it looks like the London club would be looking for a £100 million transfer fee plus two first-team stars, if they were to let Kane leave this summer.

Tottenham Hotspur linked with Manchester United star

As reported by Football Insider, Nuno Espirito Santo wants Jesse Lingard as one of two Manchester United stars in a blockbuster £100 million-plus-players exchange for Kane.

After struggling to break into Solskjaer’s first-team in the first half of last season, Lingard found himself in spectacular form while away on loan with West Ham United in the second half of the campaign and was one of the best players in the Premier League during that period of time.

On the other hand, Kane is one of the best strikers in the history of the Premier League and it is not hard to see why some of the biggest clubs in England are believed to be interested in his signature. And if Manchester United were able to sign him this summer, it would make them one of the title favourites for the upcoming season immediately.
