Manchester United have made a brilliant start to the summer transfer window. They have already agreed a deal with Borussia Dortmund for the transfer of Jadon Sancho, a player that the Red Devils have been linked with for years. The club have also signed Tom Heaton, who could very possibly serve as the number two between the posts if either David de Gea or Dean Henderson were to leave this summer.
The Red Devils would not be expected to stop here though. There are a number of other positions in Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s squad that might reinforcements. As a result, the club are expected to make a splash this summer.
One position that they could need to strengthen in is central midfield. Fred and Scott McTominay have formed a formidable partnership in the middle of the park, sitting in front of the backline, but there is a feeling that it is an area where the club can improve further.
On the other hand, Nemanja Matic is the most natural defensive midfielder at the club right now but he is set to turn 33 years of age soon and has also been linked with an Old Trafford exit recently.

Manchester United ready to make Marcelo Brozovic offer
As reported by la Repubblica (via FC Inter 1908), Manchester United are ready to offer €30 million for Inter Milan midfielder Marcelo Brozovic. Many teams are interested in the Croatian international including FC Barcelona.
Brozovic has only one year left on his current deal. As a result, if the Italian champions are not able to agree a contract extension with him soon, they might have few choices other than letting the midfielder leave this summer.
If the Red Devils were able to sign Brozovic, it would be considered as a major coup. The Croatian is one of the best in the world in his position right now. But they are expected to face tough competition from FC Barcelona for his signature.
