Manchester United’s ceiling for Jadon Sancho transfer fee revealed
A move to Manchester United for Jadon Sancho looks much more likely this summer than it did the last time around.
Back in the summer of 2020, Borussia Dortmund were believed to be looking for a transfer fee in the region of €120 million in order to let Sancho leave. But this time around, it looks like a figure in the region of €90-95 million could get things done.
At this point of time, it does look like Sancho is the top target for Ole Gunnar Solskjaer. And it makes a lot of sense considering the club’s lack of depth on the right wing. Last season, Mason Greenwood had to feature there. And although a good learning curve for the youngster, the Red Devils must sign a specialist winger this summer. Thus, someone like Sancho could come in and immediately make the position his own.
It does look like Manchester United have a ceiling though when it comes to the transfer fee that they would shell out for Sancho this summer. While speaking with The Football Terrace Podcast and as reported by the Express, Dean Jones said:
"“It’s hard to get a proper grasp of where we’re at in terms of a fee.“But I’m still told £80m is really the ceiling for United, they’re very keen not to be seen to be going over that.”"

Sancho could be a brilliant signing for Manchester United for years to come
It remains to be seen whether they can get the deal for Sancho over the line this time around. But, it goes without saying that if it happens, it has the potential to be a brilliant move on the part of the Red Devils.
Sancho is still just 21 years of age and can get even better moving forward. And he is already one of the best wingers on the planet, so that is a very exciting thought considering how good he can be in his prime.
Also, he will be a brilliant fit into this current Manchester United side. Of course, there will be some doubts about how he will adjust to the Premier League. But the fact that he has already showcased his quality in both the Bundesliga and the Champions League shows that he has the ability to perform at any level.
