It is believed that Manchester United are looking for a right-back in the summer transfer window. And it is not hard to see why.

It is a position that the Red Devils do not have a lot of depth in at the moment. Aaron Wan-Bissaka has been the regular starter there ever since joining the club. While there is no doubt that he is one of the best right-backs in the Premier League when it comes to the defensive side of things but he does leave a lot to be desired on the other end of the pitch.

Brandon Williams did not make too many appearances last season. On the other hand, Diogo Dalot spent the season out on loan with AC Milan. And it looks like he might want to remain there next season as well.

As tweeted out by Jonathan Shrager, he has expressed his desire to stay with AC Milan, while the Italian giants want him on loan for another season with an option to buy this time around:

Should Manchester United let Dalot leave on loan once again?

There is no doubt that Dalot is a talented player. And his strengths are very different to that Wan-Bissaka. Thus, keeping him at the club next season might not be a bad idea at all.

He will provide a very different option to Ole Gunnar Solskjaer and has shown his quality while on loan at AC Milan last season. As a result, if the Red Devils are unable to sign a right-back this summer, they should definitely consider having Dalot in the squad.

But even if the Portuguese international ends up staying, it is unlikely that he will get too many first-team minutes ahead of Wan-Bissaka. Thus, remaining at AC Milan might very well make more sense for him at this point of time.
