Manchester United have made it a habit in recent years to sign some of the most highly-rated young talents from all over the world. It was just last summer that they signed both Amad and Facundo Pellistri.
And it looks like they have their sights set on Ajax’s Ryan Gravenberch, who has earned a lot of plaudits for his displays for the reigning Dutch champions and has already established himself in their first-team.
According to stats from Transfermarkt, the 19-year-old scored 5 goals and provided 6 assists in 47 appearances across all competitions for Ajax last season. He has also made 5 appearances for the Netherlands national team already and is a part of their EURO 2020 squad. Thus, it is safe to say that the sky is the limit for the youngster.
As reported by Anfield Central, Manchester United will hold talks with Mino Raiola regarding Gravenberch. Liverpool are also believed to be interested in the young midfielder.

Manchester United and Liverpool linked with move for Gravenberch
It goes without saying that Gravenberch has world-class potential and it is not surprising that two of the biggest clubs in football want to sign him.
He is expected to remain at Ajax next season though and won’t be changing clubs this summer. It is believed that a move away could be a possibility following the end of the 2021/22 campaign. Of course, if that does happen, a number of other clubs could be interested in securing his services as well.
Gravenberch is one of the most exciting talents in football today and he has the potential to be one of the best midfielders in the world in the not too distant future. As a result, it is very promising that the Red Devils are being linked with a move for the youngster. But it won’t be easy to bring him to Old Trafford.
