Manchester United could hand Manchester City massive cash boost
Manchester United have been heavily linked with a number of players over the course of the past few months. But it does look like Jadon Sancho is their top target in the summer transfer window.
The Red Devils have had Sancho on their radar for quite some time now. In fact, they had tried to sign him in the last summer transfer window as well. But Borussia Dortmund are believed to have been looking for a transfer fee of around €120 million back then, which the club could not meet. As a result, a deal failed to materialise.
But this summer, Sancho moving to Old Trafford appears to be much more possible. This time around, Borussia Dortmund appear to be willing to let him leave Signal Iduna Park for a transfer fee of around €95 million.
Now, it remains to be seen whether the Red Devils can reach a deal with the Bundesliga giants. And it goes without saying that signing Sancho would be a massive boost for Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side. There is currently a lack of depth at right wing in Manchester United’s squad and signing someone of the English international’s quality would immediately solve that issue.

Manchester United could hand summer cash boost to Manchester City
Sancho came through the Manchester City youth system before moving to Borussia Dortmund in a £8 million move.
And as reported by the Mirror, while Pep Guardiola’s side didn’t have a buy-back option in the deal, they do have a sell-on clause of 15 percent for any future transfer fee that Borussia Dortmund receive, above that £8 million mark.
It means that if the Red Devils are able to sign Sancho for a transfer fee of around £81.5 million (€95 million), then it would see Manchester City get a cash boost of around £11 million. Of course, that would be very solid for Guardiola’s side, especially considering the current financial climate.
