Manchester United are expected to make a blockbuster signing this summer. And at this point of time, all signs point towards Jadon Sancho as possibly being that man.

The Red Devils have been linked with Sancho for a long time now. In the previous summer transfer window, it had looked like they had tried to make the transfer happen but a move failed to materialise as Borussia Dortmund were believed to be looking for a transfer fee of around €120 million at the time, a figure that the Premier League giants could not match.

This time around though, it is believed that Sancho could be available for a transfer fee in the range of €85 to €95 million. And as a result, a move to Old Trafford might very well be on the cards.

But Sancho is not the only Borussia Dortmund player that Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side have been linked with in recent times though. The other one is Erling Haaland. The Norwegian striker has taken the footballing world by storm over the past couple of seasons. And at 20 years of age, he is only expected to get better moving forward.

Manchester United handed Haaland transfer blow

As reported by The Telegraph (via Mirror), Chelsea bosses are intensely working on a Haaland transfer although a deal will be difficult to complete.

Of course, Haaland signing for another club, especially one in the Premier League, would be a blow to Manchester United.

Chelsea just won the UEFA Champions League and might be looking to build on that success in the summer. Their squad has tremendous depth in all positions already and as a result, they can concentrate on pulling off one massive transfer instead of going after multiple players. Borussia Dortmund could be looking for a transfer fee of around £150 million for the 20-year-old superstar though.

According to stats from Transfermarkt, he scored 41 goals and provided 12 assists in 41 appearances across all competitions. Those are remarkable stats for any player and it is not hard to see why some of the biggest clubs in Europe want to sign him.
