Manchester United have made it a habit in recent times to sign some of the most highly-rated talents from all over the world and put them into their academy, in hopes of developing them into Premier League quality players.

And the latest player who they seem to have in their sights is FC Nordsjaelland’s Kamaldeen Sulemana, who appears to be a brilliant prospect and is already making his mark in senior football.

According to stats from Transfermarkt, he has scored 10 goals and provided 8 assists in 29 games across all competitions this season. Those are brilliant stats, especially for someone who is just 19 years of age.

Manchester United are believed to be interested in the Ghana international and as reported by Football Insider, they are the favourites to sign the FC Nordsjaelland star after talks this week.

Ajax also seem to be interested in acquiring the services of the rising star but it looks like the Red Devils are determined to get him and are willing to meet the £15 million transfer fee that FC Nordsjaelland are believed to be looking for. There are still expected to be a few more hurdles in the race for Sulemana though.

At this moment, Sulemana does not have enough points to gain a work permit. But that will change if he is able to make one more competitive appearance for the Ghana national team or if the Danish Superliga is able to climb one more spot in the UEFA Coefficients.

Whatever may be the case, the future looks bright for Sulemana as he is already showing tremendous potential. He also appears to be getting better with time and a man for the big occasion, having scored 6 goals and provided 2 assists in 8 appearances in the Superliga Championship round according to stats from Transfermarkt.

Thus, if the Red Devils are able to get a deal over the line for him, it should be viewed as a major coup on the part of the club.
