Bruno Fernandes wins big at Manchester United Awards
Bruno Fernandes has emerged as an absolute superstar ever since joining Manchester United in the winter transfer window of 2020 from Sporting Lisbon.
He has been one of the best players in the Premier League since then, if not the very best. And it goes without saying that his contributions are appreciated by the club’s fans all over the world.
Despite joining the club in the middle of the campaign, he managed to win the Sir Matt Busby Player of the Year Award last season and he has managed to retain it this time around.
The Portuguese superstar has enjoyed another brilliant campaign. According to stats from Transfermarkt, he has scored 28 goals and provided 17 assists in 56 appearances for the club across all competitions this season. He even won the Goal of the Season Award for his incredible strike against Everton in their 3-3 draw at Old Trafford earlier this year.

Luke Shaw won the Manchester United Players’ Player of the Year
Shaw picked up the Players’ Player of the Year Award after having a brilliant 2020/21 season in his own right.
The left-back has had his ups and downs ever since joining the Red Devils back in 2014. The talent has never been in question but it has appeared that he never quite managed to put it all together. That has been until this season, when Shaw has emerged as perhaps the best full-back in the Premier League.
Shaw has been absolutely spectacular throughout the course of the campaign and has been a huge reason for the Red Devils’ much improved defensive displays this season. But he has been an option on the other end of the pitch also, scoring once and providing 6 assists according to stats from Transfermarkt. So impressive have been his displays that he is back in the England national team picture as well.
