Manchester United need to strengthen in a couple of positions in the upcoming summer transfer window. As a result, they are expected to make a few waves over the course of the next few months.
Striker was believed to be one of the positions that they needed reinforcements in. But after Edinson Cavani’s incredible form recently and the fact that he has extended his contract with the club, it is very possible that they might not go after a striker at all. Of course, this could help their recruitment in other positions.
One player that the Red Devils have been linked with for a long time now is Jadon Sancho. It is no secret that they tried to sign him in the last summer transfer window but ultimately, a move failed to materialise as Borussia Dortmund were believed to be looking for a transfer fee in the region of €120 million at that point of time.
Recent rumours suggest though that the England international could be available for a transfer fee in the range of €85 million to €90 million this summer. And as reported by Manchester Evening News, Sancho is pushing for a transfer this summer.

Could Manchester United sign Sancho this summer?
While Manchester United are believed to be still interested in Sancho, they might not be the only club after his signature this summer. Chelsea are another club who have been linked with a summer move for the winger.
While Sancho made a slow start to the season, he has still managed to put up impressive numbers. According to stats from Transfermarkt, he has scored 14 goals and provided 18 assists in 35 appearances across all competitions through the course of this campaign.
That is incredible for a player who is still just 21 years of age. And even more impressively, he has been putting in these performances for three straight seasons now.
Thus, signing him would be seen as a major coup for Manchester United but it remains to be seen whether they can get a deal over the line this time around.
