Jadon Sancho is someone who has been linked with Manchester United for a long time now. The English international has been one of the standout players in the Bundesliga for a few years and it is not hard to see why the Red Devils would want to sign him, especially considering the fact that they do not have great depth at right wing.
It is no secret that the club wanted to sign Sancho in the previous summer transfer window. But Borussia Dortmund were believed to have been looking for a transfer fee around €120 million. As a result, a move failed to materialise.
But it is believed that Sancho could be available for a much lower transfer fee in the upcoming transfer window and perhaps naturally, the Red Devils have been linked with him again. Many rumours have suggested that he could even be the club’s top transfer target in the summer.
But it looks like there might be another twist in the long running transfer saga. A report from Manchester Evening News says:
"United no longer deem Jadon Sancho a priority, partially because of Greenwood. He is their standout right ‘winger’ and offers better balance in the attack."

Will Manchester United sign Sancho this summer?
The Sancho to Manchester United transfer saga has had its fair share of twists and turns already. And it looks like there could be another one.
There is no doubt that Sancho is a brilliant player and will make most teams in the world better. But in Mason Greenwood, the Red Devils have someone who is doing very well at this point of time.
After a difficult start to the campaign, Greenwood appears to have found his scoring boots and is finding the back of the net on a consistent basis once again. And while he is playing on the right wing at this point of time, the general feeling is that ultimately, he will be the man to lead the Manchester United line.
If the the club believe that signing someone like Sancho could hinder Greenwood’s progress, it is very possible that they might decide against making the signing. Is that the case though? Only time will tell.
