Bruno Fernandes wants Manchester United duo to stay
There is no denying the fact that Manchester United have shown some tremendous progress this season. The Red Devils currently sit at second in the Premier League table and have a great chance of lifting some silverware as well, as they will be the favourites to reach the Europa League final after coming out with a 6-2 victory over AS Roma in the first leg of their semi-final tie.
But the ultimate aim of the club will be to return to the top of English football and challenge for the Champions League on a consistent basis. It is safe to say that they are still quite a few steps away from that.
Thus, while it will important for them to sign new players in the upcoming summer transfer window, it is going to be equally important to keep hold of players who are doing well.
Paul Pogba and Edinson Cavani are two players who have been linked with Old Trafford exits in recent months. Bruno Fernandes is keen to see both of them stay next season though. As reported by ESPN, he told a news conference:
"“Of course, as we said before, they are really important for us.“The qualities they have, it is difficult to find on the market for a good price. I think everyone knows the team is growing up and with their help too. It’s important for us that we keep our best players and keep improving as a team.”"

Can Manchester United keep the duo?
At one point of time, it had looked like both Pogba and Cavani were destined to leave the club. But there have been some promising updates regarding that situation.
After finding his best form for the club in recent weeks, it looks like Cavani might very well be leaning towards remaining at Manchester United. On the other hand, Pogba might be more open to staying as well although he is yet to sign a new contract with the club.
Cavani and Pogba have been two of the club’s most important players this season and if they ended up staying beyond this season, it would be seen as a major boost for the Red Devils.
