Paul Pogba’s massive Manchester United contract demand
Manchester United appear to be on the path back to glory under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, making gradual strides towards their aspirations. Players such as Paul Pogba, Bruno Fernandes, Marcus Rashford and Harry Maguire have helped the club progress considerably over the last year or so. Losing one of those aforementioned stars would be bad news for the Red Devils.
The club have a pretty healthy squad in terms of superstars and a big wage bill to go with it. David de Gea is believed to be the highest earner at the club but Paul Pogba is not far behind, believed to be on a hefty £290,000-a-week at the moment.
However, the list could witness some drastic changes as the Frenchman is believed to be looking for an increase in his salary in a potential new contract with the club.
As things stand, his current deal runs out in the summer of 2022 and as a result, the club could let him leave this summer if they are unable to agree to a new deal soon.

Pogba reportedly wants a substantial raise in his new contract at Manchester United
As reported by the Daily Star, Pogba wants £500,000 per week to pen a new contract with the Red Devils. Combined with image rights and that could see him earn around £800,000 a week, making him one of the highest earning footballers in the world.
With Pogba’s contract running out at the end of June 2022, there remains some uncertainty over his immediate future, however. He could leave the club this summer as Real Madrid, Paris Saint-Germain, and Juventus are reportedly monitoring his situation at the Theatre of Dreams.
The Frenchman is playing some of the best football of his career at the moment and as a result, the club would surely want to keep hold of him for the foreseeable future. It remains to be seen whether they can agree a new deal with him though.
