Alex Telles linked with Manchester United exit in swap deal
Manchester United are expected to bring in a number of players in the upcoming summer transfer window. But that could prove to be difficult in the middle of a global pandemic.
Thus, swap deals could prove to be a possible solution for the Red Devils. And one player who could end up departing Old Trafford in such a deal is Alex Telles.
The Brazilian international arrived at the club in the summer but has failed to break into Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s first-team plans, largely due to Luke Shaw’s incredible form this season as the Englishman could very well be the best left-back in the Premier League at this point of time.
As a result, Telles has made just 20 appearances across all competitions for the Red Devils and featured for 1535 minutes of football, with only 511 of those minutes coming in the Premier League according to stats from Transfermarkt. Thus, it would not be a surprise if he was looking for a change of scenery. And as reported by Calciomercato, Juventus are interested in a swap deal involving him and Adrien Rabiot.

Could Manchester United and Juventus pull off a swap deal?
Rabiot arrived at Juventus to much fanfare in 2019 as a free agent. But since then, he has not managed to showcase his talents to their full extent in Turin. According to stats from Transfermarkt, he has scored 3 goals and provided 2 assists in 40 appearances this season.
Someone like him could make sense for Manchester United though especially with both Paul Pogba and Donny van de Beek being linked with Old Trafford exits in the summer.
Rabiot is capable of playing in both central midfield and as a defensive midfielder. And having represented the likes of Juventus and Paris Saint-Germain, he has enough experience of playing against top level opposition. Interestingly, at one point of time, he was a part of Manchester City’s youth team.
