After the first leg ended in a 1-1 draw, both sides will have it all to play for when they meet at the San Siro in the second leg of the Europa League Round of 16 tie. It had looked like Manchester United were set to come into this game with the advantage after Amad’s goal gave them the lead but a late equaliser from Simon Kjaer meant that things ended all square on the night.
This will be a very interesting matchup for sure. Both teams sit at second in their respective league tables but have not been in the best of form lately.
Going into the game, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is set to miss Edinson Cavani, Eric Bailly and Anthony Martial.
But there is some good news as well, with Paul Pogba, David de Gea and Donny van de Beek making their return to the squad. It will be interesting to see though whether any of them will feature.

Although they might be back in the squad, it is unlikely that either Pogba or Van de Beek will start after their long absence through injury. On the other hand, Solskjaer could opt for some continuity in goal by picking Henderson over De Gea.
It is up top that it gets interesting with both Cavani and Martial on the sidelines. There is the exciting option of starting with Amad, who scored in the first leg, but it is much more likely that the manager will go for experience instead.
When it comes to the Premier League, Manchester United will be depending on Manchester City to slip up if they are get back in the title race. But in the Europa League, they have their fate in their own hands. And this competition is a massive chance for Solskjaer to win his first ever trophy as the club’s manager.
