Manchester United could sign Kalidou Koulibaly for massive bargain fee
Kalidou Koulibaly has been one of the best centre-backs in the world for years now. And he has been linked with a move away from Napoli, to various including Manchester United, for a considerable time as well but the move has not transpired yet.
That could change in the near future though. The global pandemic has had an impact on the finances of clubs around the world and according to Italian outlet, Il Mattino (as reported by The Mirror), Napoli could be open to letting Koulibaly leave.
Bayern Munich are reported very interested in the defender although they are set to sign Dayot Upamecano at the end of this season as well. They are expected to make an offer of around €45 million, which the Italian side will reportedly consider.
That is a lot less than the the kind of offers that Napoli were believed to receiving for Koulibaly over the past several seasons. But the current financial climate could force them to let the Senegalese star for a bargain fee.

Manchester United should consider making a move for Koulibaly
Defence has been an area of weakness for Manchester United for quite some time now and they are expected to sign a centre-back in the summer. And if a player of Koulibaly’s quality becomes available, then they should not think twice before making a move.
At 29 years of age, he might be older than a number of defenders that the Red Devils have been linked with over the past couple of months. But the Senegalese international still has years of top level football left in the tank.
And he is a player who can come into this team and instantly make them a lot better. You cannot say the same thing about most other players in the world. Thus, if he is indeed available for a transfer fee around €45 million, it should be a no-brainer to go after his signature in the summer.
