Manchester United have made a brilliant start to their league campaign and currently sit at second in the Premier League table in one of the most competitive seasons in recent memory. And while there is every chance in the world that the Red Devils can go on and win the entire thing, even if they finish where they are, it would be considered a massive step in the right direction for the club under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.

That does not mean that their current squad is perfect though, far from it. There are multiple areas which need immediate reinforcements while the club also have a number of players with no future at Old Trafford, who need to be let go sooner or later.

It looks like that could begin in the upcoming summer. As reported by Manchester Evening News, the Red Devils might be about to let at least a trio of goalkeepers leave.

Of course, the first name on this list is that of Sergio Romero. Joel Pereira also appears to be headed for the exit door and the same fate could await under-23s keeper Paul Woolston.

It looks like Manchester United are set for a goalkeeping shakeup

Romero has spent quite some time at Old Trafford as the understudy behind David de Gea. But ever since the arrival of Dean Henderson in the summer from his loan spell at Sheffield United, he has lost that position to the Englishman. As a result, he seems keen on an exit and tried to get it over the past two windows.

While the Argentine failed to get his move, meaning he has stayed at the club for a year with very little chance of any football, his contract will come to an end in the summer and he will be free to leave.

On the other hand, Pereira has not made an appearance for the Red Devils in three years. Woolston has also spent two-and-a-half years with the second string side and might be let go of at the end of the campaign. Like Romero, both of their contracts are up in the summer.
