Manchester United want €30 million Bundesliga star
Manchester United might be enjoying a great Premier League campaign and sitting at second spot in the table but it is clear that there are certain areas in this squad that need reinforcements. One of those areas is at striker.
After an impressive campaign in 2019/2020, Anthony Martial appears to have taken a step back and has failed to find the back of the net on a consistent basis this season. That could be down to the arrival of Edinson Cavani, as the Frenchman might not be enjoying the competition of fighting for the starting spot with the Uruguayan.
On the other hand, Cavani might be a brilliant back up striker, but at 34 years of age, he cannot be trusted to be a regular starter for a team with Premier League aspirations. Thus, it might be time for the club to move for another frontman in the summer.
That man could end up being Eintracht Frankfurt’s Andre Silva. The Portuguese striker has been in spectacular form this season and is drawing interest from clubs all around Europe.

Manchester United might be weighing up a move for Andre Silva
The Red Devils have been linked with Erling Haaland in the past but it is believed that Silva could be available for €30 million, which is much cheaper than whatever Borussia Dortmund are expected to demand for the Norwegian superstar.
As reported by Sky Sports Germany, the striker is on the shortlist of both Manchester United and Atletico Madrid. And it is not hard to see why after the form that he has showcased through the course of this season.
In 22 games for Eintracht Frankfurt, Silva has 19 goals and 5 assists to his name. That is an involvement of more than a goal a game. And although his past failure at AC Milan could be a cause for concern for those interested, at €30 million, the reward is well worth the risk.
