Manchester United, Real Madrid and FC Barcelona set for transfer battle
When a player starts to put in impressive performances one week after another, it is only natural that the biggest clubs in the world will be interested in signing him. But even then, it is quite special for Manchester United, Real Madrid and FC Barcelona to all want the same player.
That is exactly what appears to be happening with Sevilla’s Jules Kounde. The 22-year-old centre-back has made an incredible impression this season and that could be set to be rewarded with a move to one of Europe’s giants in the very near future.
As reported by Spanish outlet AS, Manchester United, Real Madrid and FC Barcelona have all made transfer enquiries for the defender. But Sevilla are expected to hold out for his release clause, which is set at an eye-watering €80 million.
Thus, it will be interesting to see whether any of the clubs actually end up making a move for the French centre-back.

Kounde could be a future superstar for Manchester United
The same report stated that Sevilla did not hesitate in rejected a massive €55 million bid from Manchester City in the summer, which suggests that they won’t let Kounde leave for anything other than the release clause.
This could end up playing in United’s favour if they are willing to spend that kind of money on the 22-year-old. Both FC Barcelona and Real Madrid are both going through financial problems at the moment, which suggest they might not be in a position to make that kind of a bid in the upcoming summer transfer window.
Of course, it is no secret that the Red Devils are after a new centre-back, especially after their defensive issues this season. But it will be worth watching if that guy ends up being Kounde. He is a spectacular player but the price tag might just be a bit too steep.
