After demolishing Southampton on their way to a record-equalling 9-0 win, Manchester United looked pretty confident going into the game against Everton on Sunday, which unfortunately turned out to be a 3-3 draw despite them having a 2-0 lead going into half-time.
The Red Devils looked strong enough in the final third of the pitch, but it was the mistakes on the other end that ended up costing them two valuable points.
Inevitably fingers were pointed towards David de Gea after the match ended in a draw. Many fans believe that the Spaniard is no longer good enough to be starting and want Dean Henderson to take his place.
Officials at the club have recalled back-up goalkeeper Sergio Romero who has recently been spotted at the Carrington training grounds despite rumours linking him with a move away from Old Trafford in the January transfer window after falling down the pecking order following the return of Henderson from loan.

Romero was expected to leave Manchester United in January
Romero’s contract with the Red Devils expires next summer, but the Argentine has already received offers from MLS, and it has been clear for some time that his contract won’t be renewed, which caused an argument with the Argentine as he was not allowed to leave the club and was also removed from United’s 25-man Premier League squad.
According to the Sun, the decision for Romero to return to squad was made after the Spaniard’s blunder against Everton which earned them their first goal of the night.
With calls for Henderson to start now slowly gaining momentum, it will be hard for De Gea to keep his position as a first choice goalkeeper for much longer if his performances do not improve drastically. And now with Romero believed to be making his way back into the 25-man squad once again, the Spaniard keeper now has one more man breathing down his neck.
