Manchester United agree ‘lucrative’ contract with youngster
Manchester United have reportedly agreed a ‘lucrative’ contract with the youngster tipped to break into Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s squad this season.
There are not many clubs in the world football who find the same amount of courage while promoting an academy graduate into the first team as Manchester United have done over the years.
From Sir Matt Busby’s “babes” to Sir Alex Ferguson’s “class of ’92”, thriving with the young guns have been one of the defining characteristics in Manchester United’s storied history. Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s arrival has only helped continue the trend of giving youth products a chance to shine.
Mason Greenwood and Brandon Williams are two of many notable individuals that have been heavily benefited by the tutelage of the Norwegian manager.
Shola Shoretire will remain at Manchester United
Another academy graduate is expected to earn his senior debut for the 20-time English champions later in this ongoing 2020-21 season. According to a report from Mail Sport, United have agreed to hand Shola Shoretire his first professional contract at the club, beating out a number of European giants to his signature.
It has been mentioned in the report that Paris Saint-Germain, FC Barcelona, Bayern Munich and Juventus were all keen to sign the Englishman but he decided to remain put at Old Trafford.

Making his UEFA Youth League debut at 14 and becoming the youngest to do so for Manchester United, the Nigeria-born youngster has played 12 matches in the Premier League 2, garnering two goals and two assists for the U23s.
While talking about his playing position, Shoretire is a sheer manifestation of versatility. Sometimes he occupies the left; however, his preferred positions are the No. 10 role (behind the main striker) and at the right side of attacking-midfield.
An admirer of Ronaldinho, Shoretire is expected to pen a long-term deal at Manchester United and follow in the footsteps of Marcus Rashford and Mason Greenwood, both of whom reportedly had a part to play in his decision to stay. And if things go as planned, Solskjaer might reward him with his first senior cap very soon.
