Cristiano Ronaldo has been linked with a return to Manchester United in recent times and it is not hard to see why. Although the Portuguese superstar still appears to be at the top of his game, the reality of the matter is that he is 36 years of age and in the twilight of his footballing career.
Thus, a return to the club where he made a name for himself does hold some value. Similarly, the fans still love him and would probably love to have him back at Old Trafford, even if for a short period of time.
If recent reports from Calciomercato are indeed true though, then it looks like Ronaldo has no interest in moving back to England and instead wants Paul Pogba to join him at Juventus.
Pogba is believed to be headed out of Manchester United at the end of this season with only a little more than a year left on his contract.

Pogba could swap Manchester United for Juventus once again
This won’t be the first time that the French midfield maestro has quit the Red Devils in order to move to Juventus. In fact, it was at Turin that he first made a name for himself on the European stage. And a comeback seems to be on the cards.
On the other hand, Ronaldo has not been as successful as many would have expected him to be since moving to Juventus. It is undeniable that he was brought in to help the side lift the Champions League but has failed in that aspect till now.
The club are also with their third manager since the Portuguese legend joined them in a €120 million transfer from Real Madrid. But having someone of the calibre of Pogba would go a long way in their quest to lift the trophy with the big ears, a piece of silverware that has eluded them for a long time.
