Manchester United’s game tonight against Everton will be very important in the club’s title challenge. While Solskjaer’s men are coming off the back of a 9-0 win over Southampton, we cannot forget that they have just two wins from their last five Premier League games.

As a result, getting all three points will be huge for the Red Devils. It will help them keep up with Manchester City and also prove that they are genuine title contenders and not just mere pretenders, who have had a series of lucky results.

Everton have been in great form this season as well and will have their own top four aspirations, something that they have not achieved in quite some time. As a result, expect this one to be a tightly contested affair.

United do hold an advantage over their opponents, having won both of their contests this season till now. And that will surely provide a confidence boost to Solskjaer’s men as they attempt to continue their charge for the Premier League title.

Manchester United Predicted XI vs Everton

Here’s how we think Ole Gunnar Solskjaer will line Manchester United up when they take on Everton tonight:

David de Gea

Aaron Wan-Bissaka

Harry Maguire

Victor Lindelof

Luke Shaw

Fred

Scott McTominay

Paul Pogba

Bruno Fernandes

Marcus Rashford

Anthony Martial

The biggest decision here will surely be regarding Cavani. But after he picked up a knock in midweek against Southampton, it is expected that Martial will be given the nod, having himself scored twice in their 9-0 victory. Other than that, the selection should be pretty straightforward for Solskjaer.

That particular defensive back-four has been solid and should get priority going forward unless there is an injury. The midfield duo of Fred and McTominay have also been great on most occasions, while it is impossible to drop either Fernandes or Pogba on current form. Let’s just hope that the midweek clash against Southampton was a turning point for Martial, who has had a tough time this season.

Manchester United will be the clear ‘favourites’ going into the game, based on their recent 9-0 victory and their record against the Merseyside club this season.
