Manchester United are once again back in Premier League action as they travel to the Emirates Stadium to take on Arsenal.
The Red Devils are looking to get back on track after a shocking defeat midweek against Sheffield United. Solskjaer’s side has a great record away from home though which stands at 8-2-0 this season.
Even though there is a 10 point gap between the two sides in the Premier League table, both sides are in the middle of a good run of form at the moment. Even after the midweek defeat, United are still very much in the middle of a title race. On the other hand, Arsenal are looking to continue to climb up the league table and challenge for an European spot.
When these two met the last time, Mikel Arteta’s side came out with the win and Ole Gunnar Solskjaer will be hoping to get his back this evening. Here are our 3 bold predictions regarding the match:
Edinson Cavani will be the answer upfront for Manchester United
Since joining United in the summer, Edinson Cavani has been knocking at Solskjaer’s door for a regular starting spot. Through 19 games in all competitions, he has scored 5 times while also bagging 2 assists.
He has been mostly used as a substitute behind Anthony Martial, but the Frenchman has been struggling this season and this might be a good game for him to be given a day off. With Cavani, the Red Devils are going to have a target man who has a tremendous work rate and is also good in the air as well.
Cavani will cause worries for the Arsenal back-line as he and Marcus Rashford will make it difficult to stop all their runs behind the defence.
