Manchester United are flying at the moment and are very much in the middle of a Premier League title battle at the moment. But even then, not every player is going to be happy, especially those who have barely featured. One of those players is Donny van de Beek.

The Dutch midfielder was the club’s big money signing in the summer transfer window but has not made the impact that he would have liked since arriving at Old Trafford. In fact, he has spent most of the time on the bench as Paul Pogba and Bruno Fernandes are clearly ahead of him in Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s pecking order.

Of course, it is hard to blame the manager for that as both of them are in the form of their lives at the moment. But similarly, it is hard to blame Van de Beek for wanting to spend more time on the pitch.

And According to TuttoJuve, he is open to the idea of moving to Juventus this month in search of regular playing time. There are also claims that Matthijs de Ligt has advised Juventus to go after the Van de Beek.

Manchester United probably won’t let Van de Beek leave this month

The Italian champions have struggled to hit the heights that they normally do, with new manager Andrea Pirlo looking to bring a shift in the club’s style of football after a forgettable season under Maurizio Sarri.

While it is not hard to see why they would want to bring the Dutch midfielder to Turin, it is very likely that it won’t happen this month. The report goes on to state that Juventus will make a move for the Manchester United star only if they manage to find Sami Khedira a new home.

On the other hand, there is very little chance that United will want to part ways with Van de Beek after just months at Old Trafford. He would have been brought in as a player who is a long-term project and not someone who was expected to make an immediate impact in the first-team.

With Pogba likely to leave in the summer, it is likely that the plan was always to give the Dutchman a year to settle in before introducing him to the first-team fold.
