Exciting Sergio Ramos to Manchester United transfer update
It looks like Manchester United are well-and-truly in the transfer race for Sergio Ramos, who could be about to leave Real Madrid in the summer.
It looks like Sergio Ramos might be edging towards a Real Madrid exit after carving out a legendary career for himself in the Spanish capital, that has seen him lift four Champions League titles. And while most of the early rumours have been surrounding have been about him uniting with Lionel Messi at Paris Saint-Germain, it looks like it is too early to write off Manchester United from the race either.
Ramos will soon be free to walk out of the Santiago Bernabeu, as his contract expires at the end of the season. And the Red Devils will reportedly try to bring him to the Premier League.
As reported by Grandhotelcalciomercato (via Express), Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side are thinking about offering the 34-year-old a two year contract. And at this point of time, they are ahead of Manchester City in the race for the Spaniard’s signature.

While many would have expected Ramos to hang up his boots at Real Madrid, the Spanish defender appears to be looking to experience something new in the twilight years of his career. That does not mean he is washed by any of the imagination though.
He is still one of the best defenders in all of Europe and will most probably be the best defender at Old Trafford if does indeed decide to join the Premier League giants. He is also an incredible goal threat from the back, which is something that this side lacks badly although Harry Maguire does pop up from time-to-time with a goal.
This is not the first time that United have been linked with Ramos though. They had tried to sign him in 2015 during the spell of Louis van Gaal but he had decided to remain with Real Madrid back then. Hopefully, that will change this time around.
