Mason Greenwood has been left very impressed by his new Manchester United teammate who arrived in the summer transfer window.
Manchester United managed to get a hold of Edinson Cavani as a free agent back in the summer and was handed the legendary number 7 shirt. After the disastrous spell of Alexis Sanchez at Old Trafford, who had failed to make the impact the club had hoped from a player of his calibre. But the Uruguayan has been a different story till now.
Cavani has already scored four crucial goals for the Red Devils and has been a terrific striker in every game he has played for United. The Uruguayan had signed on a one year contract but talks with Ed Woodward have already advanced regarding a potential extension of his contract that will tie the 33-year-old to the club till 2022, according to reports by the Express.
United academy graduate Mason Greenwood seems to be full of praise for his new teammate as he says that anyone can learn from a striker of Cavani’s ability.
Despite Greenwood having to sacrifice his time on the pitch for the veteran, the Englishman has admitted that he has benefited from having the former PSG striker at Old Trafford. And that is understandable as the veteran will surely have a lot of tricks that he can pass on to the youngsters.

According to the club’s official website, he said:
"“Anyone can learn from him, whether it is a young player or an older player.“He has just come here and set an example, really. I like the things he does so I obviously pick up on the little things he does.“I watch him in training and always have an eye on him, to see what movements he does, so I can add it to my game. So it is a big benefit that he is here at the club I think.“You can see the two goals he scored against Southampton were just unbelievable. It was stuff he has been doing for 10 to 15 years at PSG and at Napoli as well, so he is a good footballer.”"
Cavani has always been an impressive goalscorer and his performances since moving to the Premier League have turned quite a few heads. So much so that United are already eager to extend the veteran’s stay despite him arriving just a couple of months earlier.
Cavani has also stated his interest in furthering his time at United as he claims to have adjusted to life at Old Trafford. Thus, do not be surprised to see the two parties come to an agreement soon.
