Here’s how the Manchester United players performed as their away streak in the Premier League came to an end against Leicester City.
All good things must come to an end and so did Manchester United’s incredible away streak as they could only manage a 2-2 draw against Leicester City at the King Power Stadium.
Now it was not a bad result by any stretch of the imagination. In a game between second and third, either side should be satisfied with a draw. But considering how the game turned out, the Red Devils will perhaps be a bit disappointed.
They took an early lead through Marcus Rashford, who should have had a hattrick on the day. That was cancelled out by a thunderous strike from Harvey Barnes. United would get their lead back though when Bruno Fernandes managed to finish off a brilliant through ball from Edinson Cavani.
Solskjaer’s side failed to hold on for the last 10 minutes though as a Jamie Vardy strike was deflected into his own net by Axel Tuanzebe, who had come on as a substitute for Victor Lindelof. To be fair, their is not much the defender could have done though. And judging by the performances from both sets of players, a draw was a fair result.

The game in hand is still the trump card in United’s pocket though and leaves their fate in their own hands.
