Bruno Fernandes has given the Manchester United star a brilliant new nickname after his impressive performance against Leeds United.
It has been a long time since Manchester United managed to score six goals against any Premier League side. Leeds United fell victim to Solskjaer’s men on Sunday night though.
From the start, the Red Devils were in complete control of the game. It was McTominay who scored twice within the first three minutes of the game to set the tone for the fine victory that followed.
United secured a 6-2 win against Marcelo Bielsa’s side to jump to third in the Premier League. Something that not many would have predicted even a month ago.
McTominay was not the only to score a brace though as Bruno Fernandes also found the back of the net twice. And it looks like the Portuguese superstar has a brilliant new nickname for his teammate after that performance.

After the game, Scott McTominay was given the Man of the Match award. And Fernandes commented on his Instagram post:
"“Football is really strange Well done scottynaldinho.”"
Well, he might not be quite Ronaldinho yet but the Scot will surely take the cheeky compliment. Now the important thing for him is to keep putting in these displays. He has already established himself as a regular in Solskjaer’s team and it is time to take his game to the next level. Adding goals to it will do that.
Manchester United seem to be in the middle of a title race now with even pundits now taking notice. The club is currently on 26 points from 13 games and if they can beat Leicester City next weekend, they’ll jump to second spot. And with the likes of McTominay breaking records and Fernandes in peak form, a league title might not be as unrealistic as many would have led you to believe at the start of the season.
