Manchester United planning January move for teen wonderkid
Manchester United are reportedly planning to make a move for the teen wonderkid in the upcoming January transfer window.
Manchester United have made it a habit in recent times to sign some of the most highly-rated young prospects from around the world in hopes that some of them end up turning out to be first-team regulars for the club.
One man who has been recently linked with the club is Moises Caicedo. And it looks like the Red Devils are ready to make a move for the Independiente del Valle midfielder in January itself according to reports from Manchester Evening News.
Caicedo might be just 19 years of age, but he has already made his international debut for Ecuador. In fact, he has started in their last four World Cup qualifiers and even scored against Uruguay, becoming the first player born in the 21st century to score in the CONMEBOL World Cup qualifiers.

Such a move would be in line with the club’s recent strategy of signing teenagers with a lot of potential. Just on deadline day, we saw the signing of the wing duo of Facundo Pellistri and Amad Diallo.
Pellistri is still trying to find his feet in English football and has represented the United youth sides before making the jump to the first-team picture. On the other hand, Diallo is set to arrive in January.
That is not all though as they have also brought in impressive youngsters like Marc Jurado from Barcelona, Alvaro Fernandez from Real Madrid, Alejandro Garnacho from Atletico Madrid, Willy Kambwala from Sochaux, Joe Hugill and Logan Pye from Sunderland and Isak Hansen-Aaroen from Tromso.
And the Red Devils could be about to add the name of Moises Caicedo to that quickly growing list. Although, considering his international experience, you’d have to think that he is good enough to go straight into the senior squad.
