Manchester United have been told to make the £100 million-rated Premier League star a priority in the upcoming transfer window.

It looks more than likely that Manchester United will lose Paul Pogba in the upcoming summer transfer window. It has appeared for quite some time that the Frenchman wants to leave Old Trafford with Real Madrid looking like his most likely destination.

Fortunately for the Red Devils, it does not appear that the Frenchman is a first-team player under Solskjaer anymore. Thus, his move would not hurt the team much on the pitch. But he is without doubt one of the biggest stars in this team and if he does leave, the board will have to make a blockbuster move to fill his absence.

And if United do end up making any big move next summer, Steve Nicol believes that that man has to be Jack Grealish. As reported by the Express, he told ESPN FC:

"“I’m not going to say he’s a £100million player, I don’t think it’s £100m. But I think he’s certainly worth around the £60m-65m mark.“I questioned last year whether he was just a good player in a bad team and they stuck it out but what we’re seeing from him not only in an Aston Villa jersey but an England jersey, this guy is actually a player.“He’s fantastic at keeping the ball, he almost slows the game down to where he’s the guy that is in control of it.“Of course his goals and assists this season are out of this world. Last year he had eight goals and six assists in 36 games, in nine games [this season] he’s got five goals and five assists.“You talk about raising your game to another level, Jack Grealish has done that. Any team in the Premier League would be delighted to have Grealish on their team.“Manchester United lack consistency and they need to get players who are not only consistent but who are consistent at a real high level that will take a club like United to where they think they belong, which is fighting for leagues and for European titles.“Jack Grealish can do that. I think absolutely United are crying out for a Grealish, a guy who keeps it, who will do his bit defensively, we talk about with Pogba, United not being able to defend – Grealish does everything.”"

To be fair, Grealish has been absolutely sensational this season. The Aston Villa captain has scored 6 goals and assisted the same number in just 10 appearances. And it looks like only a matter of time before the biggest teams in the world come calling for his services.

The Red Devils will have an issue of fitting him into their XI though. Rashford plays on the left-wing, where Grealish has primarily played in this season. He is also capable of playing through the centre but then that position is occupied by Bruno Fernandes. It will take a bit of tactical tweaking to get him to play along with them but he is just too good of a player to not take a chance on.

It will be interesting to see how much Aston Villa end up demanding for him though. There are rumours that the Premier League side are looking for around £100 million for their captain but that might be a bit too steep even for a side with the financial muscle of Manchester United. Anything closer to £60-70 million and they should not think twice before putting in a bid.
