Here’s how we think Ole Gunnar Solskjaer should line up his Manchester United team when they take on Paris Saint-Germain tonight.

Manchester United will know that anything other than a defeat against Paris Saint-Germain will be enough to see them through to the knockout stage of the UEFA Champions League. As a result, the onus will be on the French champions to come to Old Trafford and get a win.

Of course, that will leave them open to the Red Devils’ counter-attacks, which Thomas Tuchel has described as the ‘best in Europe’. Thus, when the two sides meet tonight, we are set for an interesting contest.

While Paris Saint-Germain are the favourites going into the game, Manchester United are the team in form. They have won four straight games and will have the psychological advantage, having beaten the French side in their own backyard in the reverse fixture.

Thomas Tuchel’s side on the other hand have recently struggled by their own high standards. The French champions have managed only one win in their last three games.

Here’s how we think the Red Devils should line up tonight:

GK: Dean Henderson

RB: Aaron Wan-Bissaka

RCB: Victor Lindelof

LCB: Harry Maguire

LB: Alex Telles

RCM: Fred

CDM: Nemanja Matic

LCM: Donny van de Beek

CAM: Bruno Fernandes

LF: Marcus Rashford

RF: Edinson Cavani

David de Gea picked up an injury against Southampton and do not be surprised if Solskjaer decides not to risk him. After all, they have very capable back-up in the form of Dean Henderson, who could do with some first-team minutes.

Scott McTominay is also expected to be out of the game as he has been struggling with an injury for the past few weeks. Nemanja Matic has done well in his absence though while Donny van de Beek has also come into the team over the past few weeks and put in solid performances.
