Here’s how we think Manchester United will line up when they travel to St. Mary’s Stadium to take on an in-form Southampton side in the Premier League.
Manchester United might have won their last two Premier League games but they will know that they are not in the clear yet. Their 1-0 victory over West Bromwich Albion was a tight affair and tomorrow they will travel to St. Mary’s Stadium to take on an in-form Southampton side who are currently sitting at 5th on the league table.
It is hard to expect something out of this United side. One day they seem like world beaters, on another they look like a club struggling to keep up with relegation fighting sides. Now let’s see what side turns up tomorrow against the Saints.
Here’s how we think Ole Gunnar Solskjaer will line up the Red Devils:
GK: David de Gea
RB: Aaron Wan-Bissaka
RCB: Victor Lindelof
LCB: Harry Maguire
LB: Alex Telles
RCM: Donny van de Beek
LCM: Fred
RW: Juan Mata
CAM: Bruno Fernandes
LW: Marcus Rashford
ST: Anthony Martial

There is no need to tamper with the defence. After the early season struggles, they have managed to pick up some form and are looking solid at the moment.
Unfortunately, it looks unlikely that Scott McTominay will be there sitting infront of them like he normally does. Do not be surprised to see Donny van de Beek get his first Premier League start though after his impressive performance against Istanbul Basaksehir. Fred is expected to keep his place in the team.
Juan Mata also might get a start at right-wing as that position continues to be a worry for the Red Devils. Bruno Fernandes and Marcus Rashford are undisputed starters right now and are probably the first two names on the team sheet these days. Anthony Martial will also hold on to his place for the time being although Edinson Cavani is breathing down his neck and the Frenchman needs a goal badly.
