Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba sent a message to his teammates as they secured a 4-1 win vs Istanbul Basaksehir.
On Tuesday night, Manchester United took their sweet revenge against Istanbul Basaksehir as they produced a dominant display and were able to secure a 4-1 win at Old Trafford. Currently the Red Devils are are sitting at the top of their Champions League group with 9 points and are well placed to secure a qualification for the knockout stages.
Again it was the United’s Portuguese superstar Bruno Fernandes who starred on the night as he scored two goals – one with a sensation volley which went into the net like a bullet and another a simple tap in which was due to a mistake committed by the opposition goalkeeper.
The midfielder again refused his chance at a hat-trick and gave Rashford an opportunity to score the penalty to maintain his top scorer status in the competition. And it seems like United have already figured out a way of playing with a squad devoid of Pogba.
Pogba is yet to start a game for the Red Devils after his disastrous performance against Arsenal where he was responsible for giving away the penalty which in turn resulted in a 1-0 loss for the home side.

Since then, the club has lost their faith in the former Juventus star and were reported to have reduced their asking price for the midfielder to around £53 million and will be looking to land a deal for him in the upcoming summer transfer window.
Although the French international was not seen on the pitch yesterday due to a knee injury, he has been quite supportive of his teammates which was reflected when he congratulated them on Instagram by posting an image along with the caption “Well done boys” as reported by Tribuna.
On the other hand, United’s deadline signing Donny Van de Beek seems to be finally fitting in as he put in an impressive display on Tuesday night and with such fierce competition in the squad, it might be difficult for the French World Cup winner to get a permanent spot back in the playing XI.
