Paul Pogba has made an honest confession about his time at Manchester United, comparing it with the France national team.
Paul Pogba has always been considered as one of the top midfielders in all of Europe. But for one reason or the other, he has failed to show that form in a Manchester United shirt since rejoining the club in 2016 for a then world-record £89 million transfer fee.
Of course, there have been flashes of brilliance here and there but overall, his career at Old Trafford has been disappointing to say the least. It has always looked he wants to leave with rumours continuing to link him with a move away from the club over the years.
Recently, the noises have only been getting louder with his contract quickly running out. And Pogba has not done anything to put end to them, himself coming out to claim that the French national team has a much better atmosphere.
As reported by Goal, the midfielder said:
"“I had never known such a difficult period in my career.“The French national team is a breath of fresh air. We are very happy to come here and all very happy to see each other again.“It is not the same as with the club. We all group together, it is magical. We realise that everyone is happy to come and that makes a difference.”"

Pogba has found it difficult to break into the first-team in recent weeks, being used mostly as an impact substitute by Solskjaer. This has been due to a combination of his own lack of form and that of others in his position as well as the fact that the team has produced better results when he has not started.
This might of course be Solskjaer preparing for life after Pogba. As things stand, it looks pretty clear that he is set to leave in the summer as the club have reportedly dropped their asking price to around £53 million for the French World Cup winner. And for all his shortcomings in recent years, he will not have a lack of suitors.
Real Madrid seem to be lurking in the shadows waiting to make their. The player himself has let it be known that it would be a dream for him to play for the Spanish giants and as a result, Manchester United are not in a good negotiating position. FC Barcelona and Juventus are two other clubs who are believed to be interested.
