It has been claimed that the Manchester United star shares a ‘complicated relationship’ with manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.
It will come as no surprise to any Manchester United fan that Paul Pogba is being linked with an Old Trafford exit one more time. That has been the story ever since the Frenchman returned to the club in 2016 in a then world record £89 million move after initially leaving the club for free.
Since then, he has divided the opinion of fans and pundits alike. While many consider him to be one of the premier midfielders in all of Europe, it is also undeniable that his overall Manchester United career has been a bit disappointing to say the least.
Yes, he has shown flashes of brilliance but then he has also spent a significant portion of his time at Old Trafford sitting on the bench under one manager or the other.

The most recent of those phases has come under Solskjaer. The Norwegian has exclusively used Pogba as an impact substitute over the past month or so, and that has worked very well at times. It is natural though that the midfielder will want to star.
According to Italian outlet Calciomercato, he shares a “complicated relationship” with the manager which is one of the reasons why he is not looking to stay at Old Trafford for much longer. And to be very honest, it might be time for the Red Devils as well to accept that things are not going to work out with the Frenchman and cut their losses.
Fortunately, there won’t be a lack of suitors if or when they decide to let him leave. Real Madrid are though to be the favourites while FC Barcelona and Juventus are also reportedly interested. But with just a year left on his contract, it looks like United are willing to accept a cut-price transfer fee of around £53 million for Pogba’s services.
