The impressive Leicester City star has been told to join a club like Manchester United in order to take his career in the right direction.
Youri Tielemans has been considered as one of the next big things in Belgium for years and he is starting to deliver on all that hype. And now, clubs like Manchester United might be starting to take notice as well.
One of the most intelligent things the Belgian midfielder has done is not sign for a massive club before he was ready. Breaking into the Anderlecht first-team at the age of 16, he spent four full seasons there before making the move to AS Monaco. This was followed by a move to Leicester City.
Along the way he has continued to progress while never coming under immense pressure that comes with playing at a massive club. As reported by Manchester Evening News, Belgian journalist Marc Degryse believes that it might be time for him to make that jump to the next level though:
"He needs to grow to the level of De Bruyne. And in a few years’ time go to a club with more name and fame than Leicester — even thought they are now in the lead.“Tielemans belongs to a team that plays for a Champions League ticket every year. That is possible in the Premier League. In one of the two Manchesters, for example.”"

Manchester United will have an incredible player on their hands if they do manage to land Tielemans. The Belgian has already shown that he is capable of flourishing in the Premier League.
He is also one of the most versatile midfielders in the country right now. Playing in a deeper role this season, he has shown the defensive side to his game while also managing to score 3 goals in 8 Premier League appearances.
And with Paul Pogba looking set to leave the club while the club also short of options in defensive midfield with Nemanja Matic getting up there in age, Tielemans could just be the kind of signing that the club need to make next summer.
Obviously, he will not come cheap. Leicester City paid a club record £40 million to sign him from AS Monaco and it will not be a surprise if they are looking for a similar fee that Manchester United paid last year to land Harry Maguire from the Foxes.
