Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has hinted about his future at Manchester United after coming under immense pressure in recent weeks.

The Manchester United manager is currently under immense pressure as the club officials do not seem happy with the performance that they have been producing in the Premier League this season. Although the Red Devils were performing well in their Champions League games, that run also ended when they suffered a 2-1 loss against Istanbul Basaksehir.

A 3-1 victory against Everton is a huge boost but they are still at just 13th position in the league, which is not justifiable any way you look at it and most of the blame has fallen on the shoulders of Solskjaer. His poor decision making when it comes to choosing the right players has been a critical topic recently.

The Red Devils will know that they cannot celebrate the win over Everton too much. A negative result in the following game will just leave them in the same place where they started. Although it was reported by The Telegraph that Solskjaer has urged the club to look beyond the results of one game only. He said:

"“We have planted a seed, the tree is growing.”"

Solskjaer believes that he has sown a seed and now it is time to wait for the tree to grow. Even though the board was not able to back him properly in the summer transfer window, he still managed to create a strong forward line without any prominent signing. Although the arrival of Edinson Cavani for free is expected to plug the hole for a little while.

Not many will deny the fact that it is under the Norwegian that the club has won some of their most memorable since the retirement of Sir Alex Ferguson. He has managed to identify  key players and has had immense contribution in bringing in players like Mason Greenwood and Daniel James. Axel Tuanzebe and Aaron Wan-Bissaka are also players who have made an impact under him.

The manager’s comments suggest that the club are ready to give him some more time. But considering the circumstances that saw both David Moyes and Jose Mourinho being shown their way out of the club in the middle of their respective seasons, it would no be a surprise if the same fate awaits Solskjaer.
