Manchester United legend Roy Keane believes that the club will not win the League title with three of their current players.
It has been 7 years since Manchester United last won the Premier League and the legend believes that the situation will remain the same if the club does not change the conditions of their current midfield options. Roy Keane in an interview with Sky Sports named three Red Devils who he believes need to be replaced if the club have title ambitions.
Keane believes Nemanja Matic, Fred and Scott McTominay are the weak links in this team and Solskjaer is making a mistake providing them with more time on the pitch over playing the £40 million summer transfer, Donny van de Beek, who has been spending most of his time on the bench watching from the stands.
The former United captain has claimed that Fred and McTominay definitely have the skills to be playing for the club but not enough to take United back to the top of the table. Donny van de Beek has showed an impressive display of his skills in the chances that he has been given and Keane believes that the club needs more players of his quality and benching those players might not be a good decision from Solskjaer right now.

As reported by Express, the United legend said:
"“People talk about Fred and McTominay in midfield, they’ve had their chance, we’ve seen them.“I don’t think they’re bad players, but they won’t get United back to winning league titles.“Tim [Cahill, fellow pundit on Sky] makes a point there about Man United having great players, I don’t see it, I don’t see the great players.“They have some very good players, but they need to show a bit more.“Van de Beek has come into the club, and there’s nothing wrong with biding your time, but if you think Fred, McTominay and Matic in midfield will get Man United back to the heights of winning titles, then you’re living in cuckoo land.”"
Ole Gunner Solskjaer’s side might be performing in the Champions League but they are not showing any kind of progress in the Premier League and losing 1-0 against Arsenal has left them reeling in the 15th position.
It is clear that the Red Devils need to change their strategy and giving the Dutchman more time on the field might be a good starting point for them. At least that is the belief of Roy Keane and he might very well be right.
