Manchester United are interested in signing the Ajax teenager who has also caught the eye of FC Barcelona and Juventus.
The 18-year old Ajax central midfielder has been able to grab the attention of some big guns in Europe, with the likes of Juventus and Barcelona seemingly reported to have raised interest in signing the teenager in the upcoming summer transfer window. Recently according to the claims made by Mirror, Manchester United have become the latest team to have shown interest in signing Ryan Gravenberch.
Gravenberch has already shown his abilities in the match against Liverpool, where the youngster was very impressive and almost netted in the first half of the game against the Premier League Champions. He has already been compared with the French International Paul Pogba because of his playing style and is regarded as one of the players who could be a potential replacement for the Frenchman.
Although the youngster has just made it to the Ajax first team, he is already been trusted enough by Erik ten Hag to make him start in their first Champions League game this season. The Dutch giants are a club renowned for their ability to create excellent talents straight out of their academy and Gravenberch seems to be one such player who made it to the first-team coming straight from the academy at only 18 years of age.

Gravenberch has just signed a 3-year contact with Ajax and it might just be too early for them to hand over the midfielder to a bigger team. Although the global pandemic has put financial stress on clubs all around the world and Ajax are no different to it. Given the right price they might be willing to let the youngster leave and United might jump on this opportunity in their upcoming transfer window.
But the real question now is whether it will be a good option for the club to go after yet another Dutch midfielder when the Red Devils are already having a tough time fitting Donny Van de Beek into their starting XI. Fans are yet to see much of the former Ajax superstar although Solskjaer has assured that people will be seeing more of him in the upcoming games.
But Manchester United are still uncertain about Paul Pogba’s future at the club and signing a midfielder with the playing style similar to his might be a valid reason for the club to go after the youngster in the upcoming transfer window.
