Solskjaer hints Manchester United star will debut vs Chelsea
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has hinted that the new signing is set to make his Manchester United debut against Chelsea this Saturday.
Chalking up their tenth successive away victory against Paris Saint-Germain in the UEFA Champions League, Manchester United must now carry the good momentum in the Premier League. They have won two and lost two out of the first four games and languish in a mid-table spot with six points. However, a victory against Chelsea tomorrow could turn the tide around.
The squad is looking a bit thin for this particular encounter. Anthony Martial is still serving his suspension from the red card against Tottenham Hotspur, therefore, he will not be available. Further, Ole and the staff are also having to deal with an injury to Eric Bailly, who is expected to be out for a few weeks.
In an exclusive interview with the club, Ole provided updates in terms of team news and there are some signs of hope after all. It looks as though Uruguayan star Edinson Cavani is set to be involved in some capacity against Chelsea.

Since arriving at the club, Cavani has impressed his team-mates and the coaching staff too. He was seen conversing with Axel Tuanzebe in the match preparations against PSG and there are suggestions that he might have given him a bit of advice against Paris’ dangerous attack. Looks like whatever he told the defender, worked wonders during the game itself.
The Uruguayan was not fit enough to start against his former side, however, there is a possibility that he will start at Old Trafford on Saturday. Ole said:
"“He might be ready for the squad as well for this weekend.”"
The Norwegian praised Cavani’s determination in training and his desire to be match-fit as soon as possible:
"“He’s been training hard and been training well. I think he’ll be available for the weekend.”"
It will certainly be exciting to see if the former Napoli and PSG star makes his long-awaited debut in the Premier League. All the signs so far of him in training have been positive, United fans will be hoping that translates on to the pitch when he steps out onto the turf.
