Marcos Rojo is now back at Manchester United after a loan spell in Argentina with Estudiantes, making just a solitary appearance for them. He has fallen out of favour under Solskjaer and the Daily Star even reported that Ed Woodward rejected Rojo’s demand to have his contract terminated amidst interest from Turkey.

With an exclusion from the final squad for this year’s UEFA Champions League, it is almost certain that barring any extraordinary circumstances, this could be Rojo’s last year in the red of Manchester United.

The defence has shown a lot of weaknesses at the start of the season though and Solskjaer might be forced to make a few changes if things continue in the same vein. Thus, there might be an opportunity for Rojo to break into the first-team. Obviously those chances are very slim and it is more than likely that he won’t be a Manchester United player by this time next year.
