Spaniard providing hints after hints amidst his potential move to Manchester United
Manchester United are on the verge of their second summer signing.
There is a vast difference between dictating the flow of a match and impressing spectators watching from the stand — the ones, with both attributes inside them, are known as the true heroes of the beautiful yet merciless game of football.
The UEFA Nations League’s group-stage game between Spain and Ukraine witnessed that sort of heroes on the field, where the left-back, in his debut match for the Spanish side, came forward to provide a world-class performance.
Throughout the ninety minutes, the full-back remained relentless, moving up and down in a perpetual manner, making darting runs like a recently-fired bullet from the Ruger SR40c. And the way he ended up his maiden start for the national team was nothing but bitter agony.

Over the past few weeks, Manchester United have seen their name being linked with several targets. However, there has always been a notable one, and this time it is a Spanish prodigy in Sergio Reguilón – the unsung gladiator in Spain’s 4-0 victory over Ukraine.
Despite that being a bright debut for the 23-year-old, a nasty collision with the away side’s Viktor Kovalenko saw the prominent left-back being guided to the dressing room before the final peep on the referee’s whistle.
“Espera, espera!” (meaning “wait, wait!” in English) — was all the individual, dealing with enormous suffering, could speak out at that time of departing the field as a result of what Spain’s national team finally declared as an external sprain to the left ankle.
It’s become clearer now that he would complete his recovery sooner than what was initially expected. On the other hands, things surrounding his potential move to Manchester United have stared developing thick and fast.
Not only has the player himself provided some impressive updates regarding his next move, but the reports from Spain have also started claiming that a move is closing on with every passing hour.

Last Friday, after Spain played out a 1-1 draw against Germany, Spain and United’s no.1 David de Gea was found posting a picture of him and Sergio Reguilon in his Instagram Story. The story added enough spark in a fuss created by recently-emerged rumours that Manchester United are considering signing a left-back.

On 6th September, another massive clue burst out as Reguilon began following Mason Greenwood, David de Gea, and Paul Pogba on Instagram. Mason Greenwood, in reply, gave him a follow back. This could just be a mere coincidence, but, for the Manchester United devotees, this was the twinkle in the distance they had been waiting for.
In what was a really astonish occurrence, Reguilon, who still is a member of Real Madrid squad, went on to erase the name of “Real Madrid” from his bio, re-orchestrating it with a football and heart icon.
And now, it has been insisted via a reputed Sevilla-based journalist, Senén Escalante, that Sergio Reguilon will not feature for Sevilla next season and could move to Manchester United, who are offering €10 million more than what Sevilla have offered.
It now seems as if the upcoming week could be a big one in terms of arrivals for the Mancunian side, with a deal for Sancho believingly closing to its completion.
Who do you think should be Manchester United’s no.1 left-back if Reguilon joins the Old Trafford outfit this summer?
