Forget Jadon Sancho, Manchester United should sign this star

It’s time Manchester United put their priorities right.
Everyone wants him. He’s one of the most exciting English starlets since Michael Owen and Owen won the Ballon D’or. Jadon Sancho is a Manchester United fans’ dream. However let’s be honest are United really in such a dire need to sign a winger?
Look the current squad and the frailties which stand out the most are not in attack but rather in defence. So yes Jadon Sancho would be nice. No one would complain if the Red Devils brought him to Old Trafford but could Borussia Dortmund standing firm in their negotiations be a blessing in disguise? Absolutely.
United’s defence is weak. There is no question about that. Despite investing over £100 million into the defence, Solskjaer has not fixed all the weak spots.

He still needs to add another world-class defender and thus the club’s priority should be focused on signing a centre-back.
Recently reports claimed Kalidou Koulibaly has attracted interest from Man United and the Senegalese defender could be a far better signing for the Red Devils than Sancho.
Koulibaly is a world-class defender. He’s regarded as one of the best in the world and he would be perfectly suited to the hustle and bustle of the Premier League.
Against Sevilla, united lacked that defensive unity and with Kalidou Koulibaly that could be a thing of the past.
Kalidou Koulibaly would also cost much less than Sancho. Let’s be honest, Koulibaly is the kind of player United need right now, not Sancho. So it’s time we forget about Sancho, leave it until next summer and concentrate on building up a formidable defence.
