Manchester United scout spotted watching the ‘next Haaland’
By Bence Bocsak
Manchester United are eyeing another talent.
Norway has a special relationship with Manchester United. The nation’s greatest players forged their career at Old Trafford. From Henning Berg to Ole Gunnar Solskjaer as well as talented youngsters like Maets Daehli and Joshua King who enjoyed brief stints at Carrington before making their name elsewhere.
With Solskjaer at the helm, the special relationship between his homeland and the club looks set to continue. The Red Devils were heavily linked with Erling Braut Haland prior to his transfer to Borussia Dortmund and there have been rumours that Solskjaer has also been monitoring the situation of Martin Odegaard.
But it seems the Red Devils scouts are also keeping an eye on a lesser known talent.

Jens Petter Hauge is just 20 years of age. He is not a world renowned talent yet, but he has the potential to follow suit of his fellow compatriot Erling Braut Haland.
The skilful and rapid winger has caught the eye in Denmark with some astute performances. In 12 appearances this season, Jens Petter Hauge has found the back of the net 8 times and he has also registered 7 assists in the process.
That is a remarkable return, especially for a player who is so young and it seems to have caught the attention of Solskjaer and Man United.
In Jens Petter Hauge’s latest performance a familiar figure sat on the stands to watch the young man play. Tommy Møller Nielsen is a Man United scout and he was caught keeping a close eye on Jens Petter Hauge via EuroSport this weekend.
Jens Petter Hauge certainly fits the profile of players Solskjaer is looking to attract to Old Trafford. The Norwegian youngster is quick and agile and he is smart in the final third.
He might not be the big name the fans are yearning, but he could be an astute addition. Solskjaer was brought to Old Trafford as a relatively unknown star and he flourished back in the 90s. There is no reason why Jens Petter Hauge cannot emulate the current Red Devils boss, especially when many of his compatriots are thriving in some of the biggest clubs in Europe too.
Do you think Jens Petter Hauge would be a good signing for Man United?
