Manchester United could be bolstered by new arrivals.

Manchester United’s season is just about winding down. On the domestic front Ole Gunnar Solskjaer‘s men have ended their campaign in high spirits. A third place finish will have mellowed the discontent many felt during the start of the campaign.

Only Europe beckons for the Red Devils and with much to play for, Solskjaer’s men still have the opportunity to claim some silverware and make this season one to remember despite the perpetually unfurling troubling circumstances around the world.

While the first team’s season is just about to finish, the club’s academy have conversely just begun to get their pre-season preparations underway.

And with the first training sessions taking place yesterday, there were some exciting new arrivals spotted in training.

A report written by Rich Jones of the Daily Star has drawn an attention to several of the club’s new signings who were spotted in the training ground pictures released online.

Two new arrivals who were pictured in the Red Devils jersey were Joe Hugill and Logan Pye who both arrived from Sunderland and are England U16 internationals.

Joe Hugill is believed to be the highest rated star out of the pair with the towering centre-forward having been tipped as the best talent to emerge from Sunderland’s academy since Liverpool captain Jordan Henderson.

Logan Pye who is a left-back is clearly an elite talent too and is a regular at U16 level for England.

The pair of them are at the right place for their development. Of course with both of them only 16 years of age, it is far too early to predict anything yet. The first step will be to make their mark in the U18 team.

The third signing who was spotted in training is goalkeeper Radek Vitek who arrives from the Czech Republic with an impressive reputation. The young stopper has already impressed the fans with montages of his performances in his homeland on Youtube and his arrival will be a welcome one considering United’s current goalkeeping conundrum.

The path into the first team is clear for the trio, Solskjaer has placed enormous faith in youth this season and that will continue to be the case as the Norwegian looks to uphold the Red Devils’ tradition of promoting from within.
