5. Florinel Coman

Nation: Romania

Position: Winger

Age: 22

Market Value: £4.86m

Current Club: FCSB

United have been heavily linked with Jadon Sancho, but the Borussia Dortmund star’s asking price might just be too much for Ed Woodward under the current circumstances. Instead the Red Devils may look to sign cheaper alternatives.

When it comes to playing style, Florinel Coman is the most like for like player to Sancho. The 22 year old Romanian has the same pace and trickery as the English international. Florinel Coman can glide past players with ease. His slaloming runs have tormented Romanian defences for some time now. However Coman has really stepped up his game this season scoring 15 goals and handing out 11 assists.

His ability to be effective in the final third is extremely impressive and it certainly resembles Sancho.

English fans will be familiar with the Romanian who first caught the eye against England in the U21 Championships last year. He netted a brace against the Three Lions and handed out one assist in a 4-2 victory for Romanian which stunned the footballing world.

His current club in Romania are struggling for finances so Coman would be available for a bargain prize.

6. Bartosz Bialek

Nation: Poland

Position: Striker

Age: 18

Market Value: £315k

Current Club: Zagłębie Lubin

A striker might not be United’s priority this summer, but they still need some back-up for Anthony Martial. Odion Ighalo is an astute temporary option for now, however Solskjaer also needs a long term solution.

In the great historic teams of the past, United have had as many as four or five elite strikers which is what Solskjaer will aspire to emulate.

It is why the Red Devils must target Bartosz Bialek. The Polish youngster is already being dubbed as the next Robert Lewandowski in his home nation and it is easy to see why.

In his debut campaign Bartosz Bialek has found the back of the net ten times in twenty one appearances and has handed out four assists in the process.

A towering figure with a great eye for goal, Bartosz Bialek could offer an alternative option to United with his 1,90m height. The youngster clearly has bags of potential and with the Red Devils already having Mason Greenwood in their ranks, signing Bialek could secure the club’s long term forward line for the next decade.
