Premier League rivals are keen to land Manchester United duo

Manchester United have a suitor for two players.
Football is a perpetually evolving and changing game. Just like human life itself, there are pitfalls, unexpected happenings, falls from grace and character redemption. Such has been the fate of Manchester United since the departure of Sir Alex Ferguson.
Two players who witnessed it all first hand from the beginning of the club’s decline are Jesse Lingard and Phil Jones. Their trajectory at United has been undulant to say the least.
The pair of them had both made their first mark in United colours under the watchful and careful guidance of Ferguson.
Lingard and Jones had been at Old Trafford throughout the tumultuous era following the Scotsman’s departure. Often they have played a key part in the Red Devils’ successes and downfalls.

Yet as Ole Gunnar Solskjaer looks to guide the Red Devils back to the pinnacle and towards a new dawn, both Jones and Lingard have been marginalised from the squad. Their time on the pitch has been dully cut by the Norwegian and they have been forced to watch on from the sidelines.
With both players still in their twenties, being on the fringes is not an attractive prospect. Their time at Old Trafford however seems inevitably at an end. Jesse Lingard has struggled this season and his form has dwindled. Phil Jones meanwhile no longer suits the club’s style of play and his clusmy defending has been an obstacle in Solskjaer’s aspirations to challenge the club’s arch rivals in Liverpool and Manchester City.
And it seems the two United stars could have find a new path away from United.
According to the Independent via 90min.com West Ham are considering making a double swoop for both Jesse Lingard and Phil Jones.
Of course, the current West Ham United boss in none other than David Moyes; the man who inherited the club after Ferguson and who failed miserably in his endeavour to continue the legendary coach’s momentum.
The familiarity will surely help the pair of them settle in London.
United fans will no doubt wish them well. Jesse Lingard is a product of the academy and has been at the club for well over a decade. Meanwhile Phil Jones is a long term servant who has made some stalwart contributions during his time at Old Trafford.
Will you be sad to see Jesse Lingard and Phil Jones leave?
