Manchester United given the best possible news about Paul Pogba
By Bence Bocsak
Manchester United have been given a boost.
On the field, there is a vibrant energy force sparking new life into Manchester United’s midfield. The partnership between Bruno Fernandes and Paul Pogba has been electric. They are the Red Devils’ Jekyll and Hyde and Batman and Robin.
There is an innate understanding between the pair of them and together their exuberant energy and astute footballing ability has helped United to thrive. For the first time, attacks are sparked from midfield in an effervescent flow. They are instigated from United’s duo who are cutting through defences like a knife through butter.
There is a stability in the middle of the park at least which has previously been non-existent. Pogba and Fernandes have the means to dictate the tempo of the game. They are one of the best midfield partnerships to have emerged at the club since the departure of Sir Alex Ferguson. And you can confidently say that after only a handful of games together.

Yet with Paul Pogba’s elusive nature, there is always the danger that despite the blossoming relationship on the pitch, the Frenchman would be willing to jeopardise it for pastures new.
For over a year now, Paul Pogba seems to have had his heart set on a move away from Old Trafford.
The cajoling words of Mino Raiola have undoubtedly been a major catalyst for Pogba’s desire, and it is unlikely the proclaimed ‘super-agent’ will cease his attempts to lure the Frenchman away from Old Trafford.
However it seems like Paul Pogba’s suitors are dropping off like flies.
Real Madrid seemed like the strongest candidate for Pogba’s services, however the Spanish giants look unlikely to make a move for the United midfielder this summer.
The club’s president Florentino Perez has revealed that the suspension of the football has put Real Madrid in a difficult position. Speaking to El Transistor via TeamTalk Perez said the following:
"“The situation is really bad. It’s difficult to ask the players to take a pay cut to help deal with the situation and then make signings like that. That can wait. Madrid will sign the best again when the situation changes.”"
His comments all but confirm that the Spanish giants will not be making any major signings this summer and it very much puts a huge dent in their pursuit of Paul Pogba.
The news will be music to the ears of the United faithful though. Paul Pogba has started to come alive at Old Trafford and it is reassuring to hear he will be able to continue and further develop his relationship with Bruno Fernandes.
Are you happy Paul Pogba is staying at the club?
